I'm not taking anything away from the dev-team, I use their xpwn software (open source), most of them have seen it and are interested. Plus, there are no ads or donation links on the page, so how am I supposed to make money off the traffic? So, please leave. k? Thanks, bye. :)

A advantage to Jailbird is that it will create a custom IPSW which can prevent the baseband from being upgraded (this is good for the NON Apple approved carrier people) which will allow the dev-teams soft unlock (ultrasn0w) to work as long as the person is on the proper baseband.

WinPwn and QuickPwn are function completely differently, they weren't really better/worse dressed. Quickpwn Jailbreaks after a factory update of the iPhone software. Winpwn creates a custom ipsw to be restored. (these can prevent the baseband from being upgraded)

It's open source software, I am sure a release will be made, I could release but it will only work up to 2.2.1 firmwares the patching of the ipsw fails when on the services.patch file, I am investigating and will release as soon as a work around is found.

Jailbird works more like PWNAGE Tool, it will create a custom ipsw which allows for things like custom boot logos, upgrading your device without upgrading the baseband, and other things like that. However Quickpwn requires you to install a base ipsw (upgrading the baseband if there is a update to it) and then "Pwn it"
