Zune is not dead, come people, how can a dead device becomes dead again... Microsoft even celebrated the funeral, don't remember? a bunch of microsofties carrying a dead body all over the campus, it was in fact, the Zune.... Now Zune meets the Kin family....

This report is completely strange, Apple pushing back a technologic feature because nobody else is using it.... wrong, Apple is not that kind of company, Apple pushes its own agenda and won't ever confirm something to anybody....

This is tremendous video, it shows how Apple really values its costumers, it's not about being the first one or the good one it's about providing a real benefit to the end user. Apple knows how to make this videos.... this is an excellent piece of short-documentary about the iPad. The boy with autism broke my heart, wow....

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Sony hints at removing its music from iTunes

In the end this stupid move from Sony could only help Apple, imagine if that happenes, Apple will have to move to secure its other music sources, so it could buy the ill-fated EMI music and gives Sony the Middle finger... Sony was a smart company soooo long ago, now they are just a bunch of executives milking its brand, nothing more...

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Is Apple hoping to hire a blogger?

Instead of looking for a blogger, Apple should start creating or launching its own media business, video, movies and signing indie music bands, a media studio that supplies Apple with short movies and high quality content for its AppleTV or a Apple based internet Channel that broadcast 24/7 information about Apple products, business and Mobile news from the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

TechCrunch : Droid X Ad: Hold The Phone Any Way You Like

What is an irony is tha Motorola was the king of the Mobile Phone and now is behind Apple (a newcomer) and what Motorola forgot is that Apple stop the White iPhone 4 in order to make it available at the same date of the Droid X arrival, any coincidence? Of course, and while the antenna or proximity sensors may be giving a lot of bad press, the iPhone 4 still drive more traffic to any news and blog, because any good or bad press is still good press when it comes to Apple.

TechCrunch : Why Google TV As A Platform May Push Apple To Build Televisions

Well, in fact, this will be the second coming for Apple to make Televisions, Apple had a television set before and a Video Game console (Pippin), so Apple is just waiting to see the water and enjoying the cash load from the iPhone/iPod and iPads, but eventually, the Apple Television is a matter of putting a iPhone OS into an Apple LCD Display....

TechCrunch : Source: Microsoft Bing Taking Over iPhone Search

Like Microsoft... Apple has its own agenda and Google is not part of it, so whatever Google does it won't disturb Apple at all, Microsoft was even bigger than Google and Apple knocked it down, so it is about time, Google's Android can take 99% of the mobile market, Apple will find its way with innovation.. or do you think Smith is smarter than Jobs? I don't think so, Apple is just deploying its strategy, Google is shouting and screaming to create buzz, because all its earning comes from search, others projects are just a new way to burn some millions, like Microsoft.

I don't think that this will happen as it is, it may be that Apple licenses the search engine from Yahoo/Microsoft and place it as the default with an option to change it for your favorite one, Yahoo or Google. I would like to see Apple dropping any major Google-powered app to see how Vic Gundotra's face and it will happen sooner or later, Apple has an arsennal of good applications ready to be deployed, Siri, Placebase and Lala and a few location based patents. Somebody at Google thought Apple was sleeping, this is not the Apple of yesteryears, Apple is out looking for blood and it will take whatever route to hurt its rivals, Engadget's news about the $99 AppleTV is a clear demonstration that Google is far from knowing Apple's strategy.

Vic just wanted to show how affraid Google was, there weren't any reason to mention Apple in every comment unless Vic was showing his frustration, if Google is better than Apple Vic must enjoy and stop trashing the bigger mobile platform when it comes to Google stuff.
TechCrunch : Report: Apple Prepping Cheap, Cloud-Based Apple TV For War With Google

1) Well, the title of this post is totally wrong, AppleTV is a real product while the Google TV will be a product, until The GoogleTV reaches the customers it's vaporware and I don't see how can a company (Apple) will fight a product that hasn't been on the market, come on, there is a good chance that this product becomes a excellent one, but at the same time Google can provide the same Buzz experienc; 2) AppleTV has been a hobby project not because Apple doesn't know how to make money from it, the main reason for the AppleTV state is that it could cannibalize the iTunes store, if Apple adds DVR features there won't be any reason for itunes users to continue buying any new TV or Movie from the store; 3) While everyboyd points to Apple fighting Google, it's the other way around in most areas because Apple isn't launching a search business anytime soon; 4) adding the iPhone OS automagically turns the AppleTV into a gaming console and Nintendo and Sony will be hurt more than Google if you can download one and play everywhere and by everywhere I mean the iPad, the iPhone and the AppleTV. Want more?

TechCrunch : Google's Gundotra Goes After Apple: The Video

But what will be interesting to Google shareholders is if Apple drops Google from the iPhone OS and replace it with its own (Siri) and trashes Google Maps and put its own (Placebase) or justify that all or almost those free iPhone/iPad apps use iAds instead of Admob or Adsense, it's a good thing to have Apple as a rival, Apple is not Microsoft, just ask Michael Dell, the last one that trashed Apple and now its company it's a 1/5 of Apple business. I love Google as much as I love Apple, but Google is a lot more evil than the Draconian Dark Apple.

Gundotra is totally right, yeah, stopping Apple from being a Tiranny and letting Google scan your emails, gets your GPS location to provide you location-based advertising, collecting your Wi-Fi information and why not, sharing everything about you with all the advertisers.... 2010 won't ever be like 1984, 1984 is a Baby-Brother compare with what is Google right now, so please Gunddotra stop trying to let us know who is the real EVIL here, because every smart man/woman knows what are your company doing with all that information collected from your FREE-ASS applications. Free my grandmother! Apple is another type of Business and until know its ads are not following me in every website I visit. I applaud your Android, Droid and everything ended in oid, excellent, but don't come here trying to convince me that Android is the next Linux, it won't save us all.

TechCrunch : Google TV Vs. Apple TV Is Android Vs. iPhone Round 2

You are missing a BIG ONE, if Google collect information about what TV programs/video you like, then it can sell advertisers that info and advertisers target you/me in every Google device or service (Gmail, Location, Android, Froyo or Vanilla Ice), this is how Google gets its profit.... and don't forget that Google was collecting your Wi-Fi information too.... I love Google, but it isn't far away from being the new Microsoft, but a lot bigger. That's the price you pay for using free stuff, if you don't understand it, just ask Facebook about how they will use your personal info...

Apple is always quiet, Microsoft has been shouting about the WebTV that never happened and Apple is still quiet... Google has gadzillion of projects and Google TV is just another one, they need to leapfrog themselves, Buzz, Wave, Location all those projects overshadow the previous one, I don't see any real strategy here. But what is worse is how google will use the info collected from your tv viewing experience and then provide you live ads about your porno or Soapera favorite programs and if you mix that Google has your online info, your Wi-Fi, Mobile usage, Location with Android and now your tv habits. Sorry Google not place in my TV set.

I believe there is a real chance for Apple to turn the AppleTV into something more enjoyable, transform it into a gaming+Media Hub, it only needs the iPhone OS to run 200,000 apps and an application that convert the iPod or iPhone into a gaming pad, then change the layout and provide a bigger space for all Youtube's video, yes those Google's Youtube videos, adds iAds, and social stuff and so on, the AppleTV has been a hobby device, but Apple has a lot of 3D patents that point to a much needed transformation of the living room media hub. It's a matter of time, Google TV is not new, just ask Microsoft about its WebTV...
