OK, I just saw this comment on another site but it seems valuable to repeat. There are some clear problems with the "ad" displayed above. First, "lightning" is misspelled: "Do it all lighting fast.." Second, "activate" is misspelled: "To activative Wifi technology..."

These would usually be caught by your sharp-eyed publicity department. (Or your spell checker, in the second instance.)

Finally, the comment on the other site says the "$799" is photoshopped. Significant? Who knows...

Like many folks, I have never seen this issue. Someone seems to have figured out why:

So it all depends on how you use the messaging app, and it is avoidable in the meantime. Hopefully people can use these tips to work around the issues until the fix comes out.

That's definitely an answer, but I think the issue deserves a closer look. Here are my problems: 1) Internal storage--the iPhone solution--is limiting in that once you run out, you're done. SD means you can always upgrade your capacity. You could even change cards if you needed to. 2) Having an option to store non-essential files--like browser data--on less valuable storage is a good idea. Maybe phone storage technologies will grow faster than application needs, but I doubt it. 3) The ability for a user to actually specify where files are to be stored--media, apps, cache data, etc--would be a superior approach to current methods.

Agreed. My poor N1 is filled to the max, and I have been uninstalling apps (including paid ones) again. This is why I rooted my G1 to begin with--people need to be able to use the SD card for apps. If only the developers would make it happen en masse.

The pronunciation could use some work, but it's a nice little app. It would be useful to be able to override the way it says some names, perhaps a "Teach Me" mode.

Looks great to me, but as others have said, $900+ is not a reasonable target price.

Holy moly! I was expecting to buy one of these, even at $500-$600 (iPad territory). How do they hope to compete against iPad with such a ridiculous price?

Yes, a bunch of them have been hacked and rooted. I was checking out androidtablets.net, and a lot of the models listed at euogo are discussed there.

sirwally, thanks!! This is starting to look right to me, I am encouraged by the fact that people have rooted and hacked them. Do you own one yourself and would you vouch for it?

Hi Josh, I don't get the question. How do I display the Google Calendar to a family of six people in a central location (like the kitchen) for cheap? Do you have the answer?
