I had forgotten about this delightfully creepy movie (my favorite kind--much scarier than slash and gore movies). Thanks for the reminder--now if I can only find the movie somewhere...

It is a sad commentary on Mr. Clooney's character that he can weep for the people of Darfur in one breath, and in the next make such a cruel and classless comment about another human being.

I love King's earlier works (there are a couple of passages in "The Shining" that I always skip over because they scare the crap out of me--the lady in the bath tub for instance) but when his political views started to drown out the voices of his characters I stopped reading.
