So a coalition of abortion groups, I mean women's groups, thinks that sports is the great uniter and, therefore, should not be used to "divide" us. Well, I am a big Colts fan and my wife loves the Saints, so my house is already divided.

It's probably our fault (i.e. George W. Bush) anyway so why don't we just cut Chavez an $18 billion check so he can update his electrical grid. Maybe then he and the rest of the world will like us better and people will stop trying to blow up our airplanes.

What so baffles me is that secular-leftist Jews like Rosenberg really think that they can make nice with the Jihadists and peace will abound. Mr. Rosenberg, the goal of the Jihadis is to destroy Israel and kill the Jews, which inlcudes you. To them Mr. Rosenberg, you are the ancestor of an ape. Additionally, the so-called Palestinians already have their own state and it is a corrupt, abject failure and a breeding ground for terrorists. The more disproportionate Israel's response to Hamas and the terrorist animals the better.

Cubans are experts at spotting something that is "undemocratic".

By the way, this Rodriquez guy stated that Cuba is poor. Don't they have "free healthcare" down there? Isn't any country with "free healthcare" a rich country? Not to mention the "zero" unemployment rate, low infant mortality rate, and the glorious literacy rate. How can Cuba be poor when, from all appearances, it is a Progressive paradise?

Who has proven it is "BAD"? I know there are some models that project it is "BAD" but we have recently learned that these models were rigged with fraudulent data. Additionally, we have also discovered the "hockey stick" graph was also a result of fraudulent data. Thus, I am waiting for this proof. Oh yea, the Earth also has been cooling for the past ten years, something the rigged models never predicted. ____Also, what Bush policies are you referring to? We all know that the U.S. Senate voted not to consider the Kyoto Protocol in 1998 by a vote of 95-0. What degradation occurred during those eight years? As I noted above, we all know that the Earth actually cooled during the years of the Bush Administration. Did it cool too much, is that what the degradation was? Is that why they changed the "crisis" formerly known as "global warming" to "global climate change"?

I used to have a lot of respect for Hank Aaron. His swooning over Castro put an end to that. I am glad Barry Bonds broke his record.

I have been to Cuba. The entire country is "gracefully decaying". Or, to put it a little more bluntly, the entire country is crumbling to the ground.

By the way, what is it about these rich American blacks and their adoration for this dispicable dictator? The only thing I can come up with is their mutual hatred of the U.S. That and their utter inability to grasp reality.

Finally, it is ironic that Castro has such an interest in cooking given the fact that he has basically starved the Cuban people for the past fifty years.

No footnotes or cited authorities. Thus, far from being academic, it seems to me that "A People’s History of the United States" is just a long-winded, leftist opinion piece. The author is absolutely correct, if a student were to hand in a history paper without any cited sources, that student would and should receive an "F". Instead, Zinn and his sycophants want to impose him as the authority. Are there any reasonable people on the left who have a problem with this?

Here's an idea: ignore Andrew Sullivan and Joy Behar. Stop wtaching them, stopping reading them and stop writing about them. They have nothing to offer.

While gratuitous sex and violence should not be part of a Christian film, I do not think you can create a good film by scrubbing away reality. The Church and Christians live in a fallen world and it is their desire to overcome the world no matter how imperfectly they try. A real Christian movie, at least to me, must deal with how Christians conduct themselves while the world around them is going to hell. It must also deal with the Great Commission, how Christians are called to keep others from going to hell. Additionally, Christians are not perfect, in fact ,in order to be a Christian, one must come to that very conclusion about themselves. Christians get angry, they get into fights, they have passions and they make many many mistakes all the while trying to be more like Jesus Christ. Stop scrubbing the Christian life of its reality, the reality of the fallen World.
