<title>All American Blogger : President Obama&#039;s Promises</title>
<link>http://www.allamericanblogger.com/president-obamas-promises/#IDComment11893335</link>
<description>I would like to raise a point about healthcare and your past governments attitude towards free healthcare. C&amp;#039;mon, what is so petrifying about having a system, supported by taxes, which provides free healthcare like they do in the UK. Yes the NHS is an idea which fits in with socialist ideology but no-one over here in the UK has never said &amp;quot;we will end the NHS. If we had a government that used its political will to scrap the NHS, there would be revolution here. Even Margaret Thatcher would say &amp;quot;the NHS is safe in our hands&amp;quot; when she was in government and she was staunchly close to Ronald Reagan. I could promise you this, if you had a free healthcare system in America for 5 years, no one would want to see it go. People would rebel on the streets to keep free healthcare and medicine. Ever wondered why the brits have better health and live longer and why we dont have the vast health inequalities like you do in the US. Free, &amp;quot;socialised&amp;quot; medicine. Work it out!!! </description>
