Chauncey - You really need to get your ass up to Boulder. Just do it! Heather and I will even pick you up at the airport if you'd like.

I completely agree with #1; I generally like shorter sessions packed with info and light on anecdotes. I think #2 would be over-the-top awesome!

I know Chauncey; besides being a great coder, he's a real trouble maker. :-) He'd probably be a perfect fit for the Boulder startup scene.

That's some cool stuff to think about and consider. It looks like the internet version of the mailbox flag can add a lot of lubricant (in the form of reduced pinging) to the internet.

Great post and link. Thanks! I needed it. I tend to over analyze and miss the opportunity to take a swing due to fear, uncertainty and doubt.

If I were in the Boulder area and had the time, I'd do the HackStars thing in a heartbeat. For anyone interested in doing their own startup, I think it's a great way to learn from TechStars companies as well as meet and interact with potential mentors. It sounds like the next best thing to being an actual TechStars company (without giving up any equity).
