Polling places in Central VA report light turnout to MSM, personal observation was of that of a brisk showing for a gubernatorial race! This voter placed a ballot for the candidates that showed an inclination towards preserving our Republic and its Constitution.....

Polls show a likely landslide for the GOP in Virginia, with wins expected at Governor, Lt., Governor and Attorney General positions. Let's hope this referendum on the Obama administration continues up the I-95 corridor to NJ and eventually NY!!!!!

Yeah, these groups all started out as wholesome, common-sense based, but they’ve morphed into something quite sinister in the last couple of decades. Emboldened by EPA/ESA mandates and Presidential EO’s, these groups now mostly “shoot for the moon” on all fronts and only backtrack when cornered.

I also agree that they can only be taken down through a complete cutoff of private donations, but there’s enough feel-gooder suckers out there that I don’t think it will ever happen. Gosh, if you’re not for saving the PLANET and all the creatures on it, (Except that Pox known as “Humans”), then just where do you stand?!?!? (Their mantra, not mine!)

Only one tentacle to be sure, but the most deadly one, I fear!

Bills have been introduced in the 111th congress in the form of HR718 and S1557, that would return control of this National Seashore BACK to the NPS' NEPA-vetted interim ORV plan. Please ask your congressional representatives to support this very important bill if you feel so inclined!

I would implore all of you, as Cowboy Logic has, to take a good hard look at these Enviro groups as well:

Audobon Society
Defenders of Wildlife
Southern Environmental Law Center

These groups have formed a "Cartel" of sorts, and sued the National Park Service in an attempt to close beaches in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore Recreational Area, (CHNSRA), to cultural and traditional Off-Road Vehicle use, all in the name of "Species Protection" for birds that barely make the threatened list! The sad part is, they found a biased Federal Judge who was more than glad to allow these groups TO SET POLICY FOR OUR NATIONAL LANDS through a court-ordered 'Consent Decree".

Most of the pieces are educational, but thrown in are more than a few ones where the characters are "Eco-Rangers", "saving the planet one click at a time". They're even rolled out a project called "Big Green Help", where kids are encouraged to pick up trash, plant trees, etc.
