Also, it's not like those 17hrs are actually done breaking your back or something, she's not weeding yards or breaking rocks, or something. all productions are a mix of hurry up and wait. You can't tell me she was shooting for 17hrs straight, that would mean she was in every scene, and they asked her to help dress the set in between takes as well. At most she might of pulled 10hrs of actually doing stuff. the rest of the time was most likely sitting around doing nothing and waiting to be called for a shot.

Bah, This is a person who wants to be famous but doesn't want to put in the hours. It's a sad state of some people. I was just on the set of a short film with someone similar, it was a long shoot, longer than we planned, and all I heard were complaints. If you wanna do the job you have to realize there's going to be a lot of long hours involved. Katherine Heigel isn't cute enough to get by with that attitude. And she needs to be keeping an eye on the clock. Actresses have a short half-life unless they make it big. If you were in one or two flicks and weren't all that impressive, there are tons of young 20 somethings that will fill her space. Is that vapid? Possibly. But it's hollywood. It's a bit like Logan's Run. Once you hit a certain age you might as well be shipped off to the island.

So far, like his policies or don't, Obama has been WORKING, not vacationing in Texas, trying to put right what once went wrong (much like Sam Beckett in Quantum Leap, but without the hologram pal) but these guys, THESE GUYS, "oh your thing is too successful, well that's dumb. you shouldn't have done it." "Oh we should totally of let those Americans die rather than talk to foreign people." "Why are you such a pussy? its been 200 days and you haven't invaded anyone!" And then you have Cantor that douche, who goes to Isreal and tells them that our policy is wrong. Contradicting our president's role. frak those guys.

I think this is more poorly worded than it is Cheney-esque. The fact is, that there are small markets in rural areas where they have their equivalents of Rush Limbaugh preaching fiction as fact saying that Obama is going to force white women to marry muslims and wear sheets over their head and that it's a fact he stated if he ever saw Jesus he'd slap him in the face... or some other thing about old people being fed to the Jabberwocky that lives in the sub basement of the white house... It's the White House saying "If you get these leaflets, or hear someone telling you some new untrue thing, tell us." it's just like in the 2008 election I was seeing these PACs send out just HORRIBLE flyers to people who will believe anything that comes in their mail slot, and its an attempt to get out in front of disinformation as it happens. Instead of you know how it's been going where Obama is at a grocery store and some Golden Girl reject stands up and says: "How do you respond to the charges that under your new law, the elderly will be gang raped and made into food?" How the frak do you comment on that? you have to have some kind of a workable thing should it come up because when Obama is flip, the right gives him shit for talking down to the nutjobs. (which we should be doing if we have to talk to them at all) So this is just trying to collect the types of crazy things out there so they can find a logical way to respond to them that doesn't make them look like dicks for saying "Shut the fuck up crazy!" I am willing to look at this for what it is. An attempt to try to beat crazy fringe manifestos as they emerge before they have a chance to root in the culture and become harder to defeat. like the birther thing.

Here is the thing. Dave made a joke about her daughter getting knocked up by A-Rod. Well, lets face it. That little girl is not an innocent angel. She laid down and got knocked up by that boy named after a pair of jeans. (Guess? Tommy Hilfigger? Oh right, Levi.) Which flew in the face of Mama NeoCon's "abstinence is the only way!" when she knew for a FACT her daughter was knockin' boots. Look, any parent, that doesn't know their kid is active either is deluding themselves or isn't paying attention. And the fact she uses her kids as props in her little political theater I would go with the negligent arena. Kids raised in those backwoods areas are more likely to have sex at a younger and younger age just due to the fact there was nothing going on. A friend of mine told me that was why she wound up doing it at 14, she was bored and the boy was there. It was NEVER a shot at Willow. It was a shot at the one who was not practicing what Mama preached, despite being the central role in the little morality play she tried to build. And don't say "Bristol never wanted the spotlight" well tell her to get the frak off Teen People, and off the "pro abstinence" wagon. Get off the TV, get out of the magazines. Decline to comment, decline to give anyone a soundbyte or a story, go live in your little wooden shack and LEAVE THE PUBLIC EYE! You don't HAVE to be on TV. Man, if you are going to criticize Harry Potter, don't do it because it will "corrupt the childrens" do it because it will keep us from ever seeing a live action feature film based on Neil Gaiman's Books Of Magic that Harry Potter riffed on so heavily, albeit watered down for younger readers. Also the religious right is a cancer for those of us with spiritual faiths. Newt, get the hell off your soap box, and stop, as Jon Stewart would say "HUUUUUUUURTING America." We are the land of the free, and home of the brave. We can worship what we want, and not worship anything if we so choose. You are just running out of ideologues to co-opt for your own ends. I think the whole matter's been blown out of proportion. First of all she didn't say "Latinos are better than everyone!" What she said is that as a latina woman she thinks she'd have a better judgement coming from that background then say some white person that's only ever seen mexicans on TV, and outside the Home Depot. Like it or not, white folks are in the minority now. Latinos/as are a growing community and are a good 1/3rd of the US population now. So there will be issues that spring up that someone who has not lived the life of a third or fourth generation American. Learning to assimilate, language, dealing with bigots.. etc. Old white men have never had to deal with racism. So ruling on hate crime legislation they are looking at it from the cold text. Someone latino, african american, asian, etc knows first hand or second hand the pain, etc of that type of racial attack. I hope Mr. Grahm gets tossed out on his cornfed ears. Yeee-hawww.
