I applaud Walpin's courage. Obama will be going after him using all his Chicago tricks and tactics. Now, we can only hope the judge or judges hearing Walpin's complaint will have the same courage.

This bill must be defeated. Perhaps telling the story of what cap-and-trade will do to specific businesses is the way to effectively fight the passage of the bill. How this bill effects a particular business may connect with people and sway their opinion.

I'm still finding it hard to believe that the House passed that bill. I called. I wrote. I made a pest of myself to my representative. It still passed.

Obama has 14 czars and now he wants to add another. The czars are making policy and only report to Obama.

I'm finding it hard to believe that the czars, the nationalization of GM, and now a new czar setting pay standards are constitutional.

In all of Obama's calculations, I don't think he factured in the anger people have about the government taking over GM. There is real anger about this the government take-over. Anger, which will translate into people refusing to buy Obama Cars.

Fox News just ran a scroll saying that the GM bailout is costing taxpayers $458,000 a day. I didn't want to own a car company. Let Obama and his supporters pay for the thing.

I refuse to consider buying a GM vehicle as long as the government owns any piece of the company. When and if the feds let GM go, then I'll look at their vehicles again, but not before.

If only this piece could get picked up by the MSM. If only the "passive, hapless sheeple" would start thinking about what is happening to our country. I'm not sure what it will take for people to really look at what has been set in motion in the last 4 months. Obama said in LA that "we haven't seen nothing yet". I shudder to think.

For me, the only good thing that has come out of the Obama admin is that I have become more involved in politics and the direction our country is headed than I have been in many years.

With the government owning nearly 70% of GM, I have no doubt that legislation will be written dictating the types of cars that GM will be allowed to build. I can't shake the image of the cars built by the Soviet Union back in the day.
