Do they even believe their own bullshit though? Isn't it just a desperate attempt to maintain their current level of funding for SWAT tanks and anti-drug drones and all the other ridiculous military toys cops have? Or the utterly corrupt practice that Police Departments get to keep seized drug money? Or the killing the Prison Industrial Complex makes from locking up non-violent drug offenders? It's a con, a con that's running out of steam, and he's trying to preserve his take.

I disagree only because those people have accomplished *something* even if that something is terrible - Sarah Palin is a brain dead hick but she managed to get elected to office twice; Mitt Romney is an unctuous twat but he managed to convince people to give him money; Rick Perry managed to win several elections; Glenn Beck is a platinum-grade grifter of great grifting talent.

Ben Shapiro, on the other hand, has failed at everything: thinking, grifting, writing, etc. Not only is he a moron, and a terrible writer, but he isn't even a successful moronic writer, grifting fools for their dollar dollah bills. His is a life of total, complete, epic, clusterfucky failure and yet we still have to think about him (which I guess is his lone accomplishment)...

I'll concede Gohmert tho...
