In all fairness, some of these administrators could find new jobs at the Google server centres all over the world!

People who want a cloud-based OS but can't be bothered to wait for Chrome OS should simply buy a netbook and install Jolicloud on to it.

Perhaps such a trend might prompt Google in to getting a bloody move on.

Creating anticipation is one thing, but frustrating potential customers is not good for business.

Now that's racism if ever I saw it.

And what is it about UKIP that you find so offensive, exactly?
We are non-racist, we want to bring back democracy, and every single person in the UK would be financially better off if we left the EU.
What can you possibly hate?

But then if we find that we are still bound by this, and it is to our detriment, then we can leave the council too, or simply refuse to be bound by legislation from outside of our own parliament. There is very little that they can do other than 'condemn our actions', which - let's face it - means nothing.

An excellently written article, and I agree with every word of it. At the end of the day, if a business has a reputation for being homophobic, they will lose custom, and so it is to their own detriment. The forces of the free market will prevent such prejudices taking place; it is not the place of government or legislation to intervene. The law is simply too blunt an instrument to use on such a delicate issue.

This will probably harm Labour more than it benefits them - I personally am glad that Gordon Brown has made such an idiotic move. Tony Blair was not popular by and means - in fact he resigned due to public pressure. As far as I'm concerned, anything that damages the other parties is good for us, so I welcome this move.

I agree - as harsh as it sounds, universities need to be elitist establishments. Otherwise the value of a UK degree drops and it makes it harder to gain employment. A lot of people simply can't afford to pay off their student loans and the whole thing is a sorry mess.
Those who really have the drive to go to university will generally have the drive to work hard to pay off their student debts, those who go for laughs won't.
