Good luck to everyone and thank you HGTV!
You can imagine I was ecstatic when I learned about the location. We've been saving for the move for a while now, so I think the excitement of actually winning would probably give me a heart attack! Seriously, though, this is going to be the perfect home for whoever ends up winning, HGTV really put so much charm and character into it and they could not have chosen a better location. I can't wait to see the look on their face when they get to step into their new home. It's all so exciting.
Asheville is such an amazing town. After just one visit, my fiance and I were hooked. The people, the mountains, the food, the beer, the whole atmosphere is incredibly exciting and refreshing.
I couldn't agree with you more. Plus, opening up the ceiling was such a good call.
I absolutely adore the guest suite! Everything is so cozy and well put together and that painting with the two lambs snuggling is amazingly perfect. Oh man and the paint color is top notch, plus I love how much natural light those wrap around windows let in. But it's hard to choose a favorite when the whole rebuild created an actual urban oasis. I do have to say though, that the kitchen is also a personal favorite of mine. Clean, bright, open, and functional; if Asheville didn't have so many amazing restaurants, I doubt I'd ever eat out with that kitchen available to cook in! Plus that "serving window" is just genius. Honestly, the whole house is a gem and I couldn't think of a better location.
Looks delicious! This would be a great drink to enjoy on the lovely porch of Urban Oasis house. I love how Asheville has such a healthy relationship with alcohol, not only is it Beer City, USA, with it's numerous (and ever growing) breweries, but it harbors gems like Troy Ball who's "one of just a handful of female distillers in the United States." Definitely impressive.
Asheville is such a beautiful town! After one visit I knew I was going to move there. There are so many good restaurants there too; I've been to the Tupelo Honey Cafe and Chestnut for brunch and not only is the food amazing, but the decor everywhere is as well.
