GazetteOnline.com : Neighbors, city officials face off again over CEMAR Trail segment

Seriously? Talking about trails unsafe, when was the last time somebody has ever reported being assaulted or anything of the kind on a trail?

GazetteOnline.com : Neighbors not happy with start of construction on CEMAR Trail

Wow, sounds like people just want to complain to get their voice heard. For people to think a 12' wide bike path is going to mess with their drainage when there is a railroad track there (which is probably elevated) is crazy. Like a previous poster stated in time these people will be happy with this development

This is completely true. Football for almost all colleges is what keeps the other programs going, volleyball, wrestling golf, softball, some basketball teams. The revenue brought in by football home games goes to support many other sports.

so not in Iowa is what you are saying?? Come on if they really did violate the due process don't you think this would of went to federal court, AT LEAST ONCE? Everybody brings up these court cases where it was overturned, and they are all local, which obviously means nothing anywhere else

did you not see the article last week, in time they are going to time it, once you go through the first camera to the time you go through the second. Then they can track if people are just slowing down at the camera's and speeding up when they know they are out of range.

Here we go again!! All the same people that complained about the proposal to close 2nd ave will now come on here to complain about this one. I wonder if they will complain also when they close and demo the roads for the new green space areas where homes are being torn down, even though they won't lead anywhere.
