I also received that email today. Very disturbing. I don't know what the "new foundation" is, but I'm pretty sure it's not the Constitution.

The only possible upside to bringing Gitmo detainees into our prison system is that the American prisoners will probably torture them much worse than what is happening now. They'll wish they were in Gitmo. I'm guessing they rate right up there with homosexuals and pedophiles in the social classes of the penitentiaries.

Fantastic idea! I was trying to think of when the next big event should be. The 4th is absolutely perfect- we to encourage even more people to show up. It can't be dismissed as a couple hundred people here and there throughout the country as this has been. We need to make it something that is unmistakably real and make it known that we MEAN business!

I was at the Greensburg Tea Party and literally watched the WTAE news truck drive past and not stop! KDKA had cameras there but didn't air anything from Greensburg.

Seriously, though, I'm exasperated by all of our current options. I understand that it is important to have a mouth piece that is recognizable or has political pull, but at this point I would be much more satisfied with a candidate that wasn't a real politician. Maybe we should examine Bob Barr?

When Barack Obama won the election, I had a strong feeling (and hope) that this would be the time for the Libertarian Party to rise and shine. Thanks to Glenn, I believe the movement is truly getting its legs. Let's do it! Let's surround them!!
