Everything I've read though says he can't play the field anymore so I just don't see how he's going to get anymore playing time besides coming off the bench. Second he hit 225 in over 400 AB's last year and only .268 the year before. That's what really concerns me. At 40 years old he hasn't been a really good hitter in about 4 years. Also I really would like to see Church and Murphy play regularly finally and now that won't happen as much as before the move. I can't imagine they signed him to get 100 AB's as a pinch hitter.
