Unfortunately they raise children and the atmosphere they create actually encourages gang involvement. The lack of cross cultural training and exposure, foreign language proficiency, world history, conflict resolution and even foreign travel are just a few of the things that hamper our students when they leave the county and try to get out there and function in the real world.
