So Biden and Obama are both saying that Washington is broken, and to partisan, and at the same time saying that the stimulus worked?
I would love to have any reporter ask them if Washington is broken, and things can’t get done, why is it the Republicans fault, when the Dem’s have a majority in the House and Senate, and the Presidency?
I would also like a reporter to ask in what world the stimulus has worked. They say that they have created or saved 2M jobs, (this is bogus, but let’s give it to them for the sake of the argument) and yet 3M new people are unemployed in the last year. The stimulus was 787B, and is now at 837B with a 50B increase due to unemployment overruns, so let’s do the math, and we will completely ignore the fact that most of this money went to special Dem pet projects, and to raises for Dem State, county, municipal, teacher and union etc. workers.
Unemployment went from under 8% to 10% in the last year. And this is good?
Cost per saved/created (hypothetical) jobs = 837B/2M or appx $420,000 per job. And this is good?
They could have paid each person who lost a job in the last year, and their imaginary 2M extra people appx 165k in the last year. They could have given all small business’s a two year income tax holiday, (the people who actually create jobs), they could have started a works program and employed 8.37M people at 50k a year for two years. (not advocating any of these, [except tax break for business] just showing the stupidity of what they did) They could have done almost anything, or nothing at all, and we would be in a better position as a country now.
At this point, someone in the White house has to be thinking that it might have been better to mirandize Biden instead of the Christmas undie bomber, in the hopes that he would have stopped talking over the last month.

Third, and almost most important, I have a connection to Umar Farouk Abdulmutallabs family, as I have been corresponding with his Uncle for some time, and even he warned me about his nephew, which shows that his father was not the only one in the family concerned with young Umar. Not even additional screening in spite of the fact that his own father warned us about him, and the administration says everything worked? I have been pulled out for additional screening just on domestic travel, and after the 20 min body cavity search, when the federal rent a guard gave me my boarding pass back with a mint, and what appeared to be a phone number written on it, I was told that this is only routine and for everyone's security. Now new procedures will be put in place that will inconvenience everyone, but it will still be up to the passengers to stop the terrorist. I now show up to the airport in nothing but a bathrobe, and get dressed after going through the screening, but my guess is that now we will have to ship our baggage with UPS, bring no carry-on luggage, will not be able to eat or drink anything on board, pillows and blankets will be banned, and the only bathroom available will be the adult depends that will be passed out at the gate. Also, to make sure that the US does not offend, I can envision MRI's set up, and forensic handwriting specialists to verify that the "titanium hip" and 45 pages of medical disclosures that grandma is traveling with are both legit, meanwhile, young Arab men traveling from Yemin with no luggage, walking as though they have something shoved where the sun doesn't shine, and a red cord with printing on the side that says "ACME quick burning detonation fuse" hanging out their pant leg will be able to sail right through. We need as a country to get back to the point where we take terrorism seriously, and I hope for all our sakes that it is sooner, rather than later.
