So what is stopping the WH from spending hundreds of thousands of tax dollars to remove the current un-organic soil and bringing in 'virgin soil' from somewhere in the West Indies?

This 'organic' thing with regard to our food supply is almost laughable at times. In many instances the organic produce is inferior and in other instances the 'organic produce' is not truly organic - just labelled that way so the supplyier can charge 50% as much for it and then the grocer can charge double over regular produce!
