It was a field trip which Mom had to give permission for. If her kids are this sun sensitive perhaps Mom should have went along as an aid to keep an eye on her sun sensitive kids.
Mom...quit expecting everyone to take care of your kids and do your job. If you have children who sunburn easily...how about sending them in clothing that covers the sensitive areas and a hat and a bottle of sunscreen??? Is this really news?
There is no excuse for drinking and driving and he should be dealt with harshly for that. Alcoholism is a disease and we should start treating it as such in the USA. My Dr. friend who has spent a lot of time in Europe says that a lot of other countries treat as a disease and try to help these people.

Fear for your life and adrenalin can make anyone pretty strong for those brief moments...good for her. I don't think you can fire someone who is a victim of domestic violence, I know in the rental business you cannot evict a woman who is a domestic violence victim.
Doesn't anyone ever balance that bank account? Good lord you would think an audit would show over 2 million missing. I work for a private business and we balance every month.
Our neighbors have a private drive at the end of a culdesac...but now there are new home built behind them...they have very plain No Trespassing signs up.. Fed ex and even the Senior Citizen bus drive through it and fairly fast. They do have a gate with a roller on it that they close when they are gone..we have seen cars push against it till it opens. Runners and kids cut through all of the time. There is no excuse for these kind of people. I don't believe the man directly pointed the gun at the kids...parents probably made that up fixing for a lawsuit.
That is just sic...I hope his venture fails...sounds like he is looking for an easy buck.
Something is amiss in this story. Not only would I not stay in that room, I would have found a different hotel.
I have always thought it was a strong possibility that he was handed off to someone out on Sauvies Island...black market maybe but he could be alive...It would take a lot less time to do that than to kill and bury him..I can see why Kaine feels he is still alive.
