A tad paranoid eh? Have you guys heard of projection and transference? Maybe feeing subconscious guilt?
I am a historian, so I see a trend here - we Christians bullied and invaded Muslim countries for centuries during the Crusades, now we (the West) occupy Saudi Arabia for its oil, and most of the Gulf countries are client states of the West with occupation armies, inevitably this led to Al Qaeda and the Taliban (well, wouldn't you become a freedom fighter if Europe or America was occupied by a Muslim army for decades?).
The other problem is religionism - fundamentaists and evangelicals are all the same type, whether Christian, Buddhist, Jewish, Muslim or Hindu. They all believe they have a divine right to the truth...................
It's all a bit uncivilised and depressing, we humans haven't advanced psychologically in thousands of years!
Plus ca change ...............
If you believe in this Muslim conspiracy you are part of the problem, you just make the situation worse and perpetuate the myths and tensions (which is probably what our elected politicians want from you, it keeps you under their control).
Remember, what you fear most is what you will probably create..........
