Let's see. 1. Have you ever wondered that maybe gays never hit on you because it would show you that they are gay? It's called Don't Ask, Don't Tell for a reason. 2. How do you know that gays have never posted huge religious symbols along the side of the road? Are you psychic and so know who's gay and who isn't? 3. If PDA is a problem for you, then ban it for everyone on military posts and call it a day.

BTW, just so you know, a majority of the military are religious people and do not want gays in the military who can do PDA with abandon. As for going back to their churches, they never left...and thank God they have the right to free speech same as you, so they don't HAVE to STFU!

But the mandatory testing is done only ONCE a year. So in that time, someone could contract a disease and give it to OTHER soldiers before it's caught. So the yearly testing would do nothing to stop the spread of a disease...or don't you think someone could do that within a years time?

BTW, the point is NOT that there are homosexuals in the military...by sheer volume, one would have to admit that there are. The point is whether or not they would be permitted to have sexual contact without being outed from the military. I realize that many soldiers are single...however a large percentage of military people are married with children...and would prefer their children be protected from such things. Difficult to do if it is permitted and you live onpost.
