Question about temperature is what is what made me look it up.  I am in AZ right now and our unheated pool is 58 degrees so I wondered if that would be cold enough.  Maybe yours with ice was much colder because getting in at that temp was certainly a shock, but there was no screaming or too much stress involved :)  As for the tub, I like your idea of getting in lukewarm and then adding the ice.  Or maybe you could get in a warm bath and then just have Andrew keep adding ice until it was cold enough?  Certainly seems easier that getting right into the ice!  You should get an inexpensive kitchen or pool thermometer to test it in the future.  That counts as a gadget sort of? :P

If you think of it, please ask Stevie if she is on Ravelry (she'll know what I mean...knitting related).  You guys also recently mentioned dailymile.com  I'm there as divaknitting if you decided to use it.

Take care!

I know! It's a curse :) My ego is a little bruised along with my leg, but really, I'm fine. One benefit of doing stuff like this on a regular basis is that you actually get use to it!
