Thank you for writing your post. This is what I have been trying to say for a while. (only Charlie said it better) I love the Tea Party idea but it is not enough to demand something after all we have been doing that for years but to no avail. Just recently the public rallied against bailouts yet they go forward anyway. We have been crying out to protect our borders for years yet Polosi claims that is unamerican. These people are out of touch we need a new rallying cry and that is out with all of them. I say we call it Operation Clean Sweep and we rally in front of the mainstream media so they can't ignore us. The only way we will get change is to fire all of them.

We need to boycot the media. I don't think the Republican party can fix our country for us. We have to take our country back ourselves. We need to rally around voting all of them dems and republicans out of office. They are all corrupt we need to start fresh. We need OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP. Those of you that live in or near NY would have the biggest role. We won't get out the word unless we boycott the media they are in the pockets of the government. They are in my opinion the biggest part of the problem. Don't get me wrong I love the Tea Party idea, I am attending one but just saying no to more taxes will not work. They didn't listen to no more bailouts or anything else we have protested. Not to mention the dems are calling the republicans the party of no. We hear that all the time on the mainstream meda news channels but nothing about Tea Parties. The only thing they will listen to is them losing thier jobs. Only we can make that happen.

This really angered me! I know this is really big with those of us who watch fox news but most people don't know anything about it. I canvased my neighboorhood and 9 out of 10 people I talked to don't know anything about the tea parties. I think we should call this OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP. Our government is not listening to us, the media is making sure our word doesn't get out, we should be holding rallys in front of the news media. WE SHOULD BE CALLING FOR ALL INCUMBENTS TO BE VOTED OUT OF OFFICE!... Which is the only way to get real change not the OBAMA change we got. We need to do this on the doorsteps of the media. Since they won't come to us we should go to them. Washington will listen if they fear losing thier jobs just like we are losing ours. They need to work in the private sector for a while.

I think we need a change of plan for the tea parties. I was watching Neal Cavuto the other day he was discussing the tea parties with someone in the mainstream media. Here is the jist of what she said: The mainstream media is not going to cover our little tea parties! She doesn't understand why we are having them. What do we want? Why are we picking on OBAMA? No matter how much Neal tried to explain this is not about democrats or republicans this is about our government run amuck, she wouldn't listen.

This is OUTRAGOUS!!!! I knew it would be bad when liberals got all the power, but they are worse than I even dreamed. I bet they won't be moving in thier neighborhoods. These people were caught with guns in thier hands fighting our troops. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw a post that tried to say they were just farmers caught in the crossfire. That is bull, but that is what the mainstream media will try to spout. This is why they shouldn't have closed Gitmo. I live in Detroit and am thinking of moving to Canada. Don't get me wrong I am totally against taxing these bonuses. Nevertheless, what these AIG execs. did was disgusting. They knew the company was going bankrupt at the time and they wrote up these contracts to make sure they got paid even though they knew investors would eat all the losses. Where was the board of directors. What kind of bunuses did they get? This story smells all the way around. As for our congress saying they didn't have time to read the bill, that is a crock! All they had to do was ban together and refuse to vote. It is an outrage that they would even consider voting on something they haven't read much less do it all the time. This is what they get paid for. Barney Frank had the nerve to say we are rewarding incompetence when congress let this happen in the first place they are just as bad as the AIG execs yet they get a raise every year, and as many perks as they can hide from us.

Transparency is probably something we will never get unless we vote everyone out (except maybe Ron Paul) and start all over. This has been the way of Washington for a long time. Even those who want to change Washington end up themselves, changed by Washington. Some food for thought; Where else could you barely show up for work for 2 years, put all your time and effort into a new job, yet still get paid? Where else could you be a failure in your last job, yet still get promoted? Where else could you be a total failure yet still get a raise. Were else could you vote for your own policy even when it is the exact opposite of the policy of your employer. Where else could you be a tax cheat yet be in charge of the IRS? Where else could you write the tax code yet claim the tax code is too confusing when caught cheating on your taxes? I could go on, but I feel my bloodpressure rising.

I have a challenge for all of you! We all need to vote and vote as if our lives depend on it, because it does. We need to vote out the incumbents that have been in office for years and have done nothing but help themselves. We only have ourselves to blame. Good government requires voting out poor politicians, it is up to us, not them. I don't think people realize how important a good congress is. They are more important than the president, yet we keep voting in the same loosers every term. Challenge yourself and your family. Take time to find out what your representative is doing and vote him or her out if it is not in our best interest as Americans. I will be attending in Lansing, MI on April 15. Everyone that can attend one of these must! It is very important that we take our country back. If your area doesn't have a Tea Party planned then step up and start one. My husband is getting upset with me he says I am turning into an angry person. They already have! I am a smoker as of this month unemployed. I live 13 miles outside of Detroit where unemployement is 10.6% There are very few jobs here. Businesses are closing here at a rate you can't believe. When you pass by a strip mall instead of having an empty store here and there you have one or two stores open and five or six closed. I have been rolling my own tobacco because I didn't want to spend $6.00 on a pack of cigarettes. Now, I know that smoking is bad for me but I am an adult and tobacco is not illegal so I have the right to do it. So what did our Governor do. She raised the taxes on tobacco. Not by a little either! A bag of tobacco that costs $17 now will cost $70 next month. They have been taxing smokers more than any other americans for some time but no one cares because smoking is unpopular. Well, it will come to the rest of you when there are no more smokers left to tax. Only then will you care about taxing a group of people
