Lighter Footstep : Five Cheap Ways to Save a Thousand Gallons of Water

Re: Energy Star appliances. Check Consumers Reports or research before you buy. The Energy Star rating was a good start ,but it is my understanding that many of those ratings were given to appliances that were energy/water hogs. We actually bought with good faith and discovered the truth later. I believe this issue has been adressed by manufacturers and revised. A solar shower can be easily established outside. Great quick clean-up after working outside. We have friends who have a private bathing room out side in a vine covered gazebo next to their garden. We have only landscape plants that require no watering in a drought and live with water restricitons..in drought for over four years here. An old hot tub makes a great raised bed garden !
