Not really sure how to go about this things change so fast also hear issues from some on 3GS's with iPad baseband would be interested to know if these are normal or one off's

Updated iPad to 3.2.2 and Limera1ned it very happy. Can't think of a good reason to update my iPhone 4 to 4.1 thinking I should wait for 4.2 to drop does anyone disagree, have a good reason to bother with the update to 4.1?

As you were told above follow the instructions in Limera1n I did the same as you on a spare XP box I have which wasnt setup to sync any of my devices or authorised for any of them or apps store. Just follow the Limera1n instructions on any XP box as long as the latest version of iTunes is installed

Reboot the phone I had a white icon first reboot, then the correct one second reboot: Assuming you've launched Limera1n on your phone and told it to install Cydia which you must do after running the Windows app.

The point here is simple: If you want an unlocked iPhone you have to know what you are doing and follow the Dev-Team Blog, don't update iTunes or your iPhone without checking here first and don't purchase one without knowing what firmware is installed. Better still purchase your iPhone from a country where they don't sell locked phones. More to the point don't complain about a team who release their HARD WORK............ FREE !!! Its not your right or anyone elses to have an unlocked phone its through the kindness of this team that its been made possible so stop complaining and get on with it.
