Right, but how is that any different than anything that could happen before this? An ad campaign telling people to be vigilant around the holidays for anyone performing suspicious activities doesn't seem very nefarious. If this agreement has some kind of clause where wal-mart has to record everyone as they watch the psa, then send the video of their reaction to homeland security, I'll be a lot more worried. But, as far as I can tell, this is nothing more than an ad campaign.

Not to seem stupid, but there isn't any actual camera, right? It's a video recording played back on the check-out screen as far as I can tell. Wal-Mart already does advertisements for other things on their little screens throughout the store, how is this any different from one of the psa's they play on TV? I'm genuinely confused by the backlash to this story. Didn't al-qaida just say they plan on the "death by 1000 cuts" strategy?

Win by 1 touchdown over the worst Longhorn team in over 50 years. Can't wait to see what LSU does to y'all.

I just wonder if anyone actually read this. Or did they all just assume it was a liberal trying to talk down the Republican victories? I, for one, agree that we can't just think that things are fixed now that we have Republicans in office. We really do need people who will fight for the constitution and the free market in control of our government, not just those who give lip service to those principles.

Yeah, I say, let's do everything we all agree on. A constructive truce where we get the economics done and leave the social for later. Then we can all rip each other's hearts out about gay marriage and marijuana. At least there will still be an America to be ravaged by social evils if we get the economic issues in order.

I don't see any reason it shouldn't be legal.

I consider myself a libertarian, but I have no love for the Libertarian party. They put all of their focus on the issues that for some reason they think they will get votes from (pot, gay marriage, war, etc.) and don't even mention fiscal issues half the time. My local Libertarian party candidate's platform actually was in favor of subsidies for wind power. He was approved by the Texas Libertarian Party. That's how I knew I'd have to vote Republican until something changes. Hopefully, the Republicans change and I don't feel half sick to my stomach the next time I vote for one.
