I just hope the victim gets the proper counseling/help that he is going to need, so we don't hear of some awful act he makes in the future, having not dealt w/ this horrible, senseless, and tragic scenario.

you cannot logically prohibit a senior prom because of a food fight. And trust me, I am a parent, a PTA member and a concerned citizen, but heck that is absolutely ridiculous. A food fight? Emergency expulsion? Safety value? Sorry, I can't get the smile off my face.
