Wow. What amazing insight from Seth. It's almost like he's seen into people's hearts and figured out what they've always wanted. And now he's presenting it to us in a book! I would like a copy of Seth's book because I'm genuinely interested in how to be an indispensable person, in school and in work. Hopefully, through reading his book, I can become more others'-focused and inclined towards helping others succeed.
@Jill_Be, I tend to agree with you on that. But, I think if I increase my posting by just twice more per day, it may encourage them to Twitter more, thereby enriching and extending the conversation, which is the goal. But, I know what you mean about "over-posters". I have definitely blocked some that just take up space with their posts. What do you think?
Great post, first of all. Anytime I'm ever trying to convince one of my friends or family members to Twitter, I send them to your site. Most always, they begin Twittering to try it out and never stop.
Secondly, one thing I struggle with on Twitter is knowing how much to post. Most of my followers (which are mostly people I know directly, at this point) don't post more than 5 times per day or so. I would like to post more, like 10 times per day or so, but I'm afraid that if I start posting more than about 5 times per day, I may lose some followers. What do you think is the best approach to this conundrum?
I think you're right on Michael. Only if you were a multinational company or something like that would you want to have different Twitter usernames for different languages.
I totally agree. Just yesterday, during the Saints game, my phone was going nuts because one guy posted 7 or 8 tweets about the Saints game within one hour. I was "this" close to unfollowing him.

I love the new blog design. As always, your choice of picture drew me into reading your post after the title captured my attention. Someone earlier said that putting your Twitter after your advertisements was a bad idea. I think not, because your most recent update is at the top. The look is totally up-to-date, modern and sleek. As usual, your content is killer (which is why I read your posts). Now your updated design provides an aesthetic gateway to that information, which is the way to do it for sure! Great job!
My friends and I mentor a group of young kids in their schoolwork. We have, through a very organic process, become a part of their lives and are seeing significant transformation in the process.
This book, "Mentor Like Jesus" sounds like it would help me understand more about mentoring and begin to implement good strategies for effectively reaching people.
Not only am I interested in developing my own leadership skills, but I am interested in learning from others' successes and mistakes. As I finish college and head toward law school, I think this book could help me spot problem areas in my leadership and help me fix those areas. And a wise man once told me that "Leaders are readers and readers are leaders." So another quality book added to my repertoire would be beneficial.
