Resident, the website is a group that represents many police officer associations. They are hardliners and back the POA's to get their share. MPOA is not publicly funded in the sense that their funds come through government. they depend on donations and fund raisers along with the dues that their members pay.

Hey truth, that was almost as juvenile a post as my Roger Johnson and the lube post. I will let you know why I back these two. Parry and Kemp are 2 of the very few people in this town that actually give a crap that our council are a gaggle of clowns. They go before the Council and give their opinions and have facts to back up their play. The rest of us come here and just bitch about. They bitch and they act. So, if I am considered a brown noser, cool, call my shade chocolate. As for you, you just come in here to bitch like the little kid that still gets his milk money stolen by the bully down the block. Good day, sir.

I have read a few things on the attorney and see that his organization is pretty heavy handed.
On another note, I read Hammond's letter in the Star-News today. He refers to unions needing to have their members contribute to their own retirement. As I understand it, council members get lifetime medical and some sort of retirement for their service and they do not have to pitch in for it. How is that fair to the rest of the city employees? Why would someone who busted their backs in the city yard for 40 years be expected to help pay for their future coverage when a council person who gave 4 years gets his/hers for free? How fair is that? My information was provided to me by a city employee as to the council retirement & medical perks.

My comments about the malcontents are now done. People just comment for the sake of commenting. I hope Shaw gets elected. He is so different than the leadership that we now have and appears to be a breath of fresh air. He does not appear to be in the inner circle like many others that think Police Officers shouldn't write tickets for speeding because everyone does it, like another candidate has stated.

I am not calling anyone city hallers. I just have an issue with people coming in here and doing exactly what they bitch and complain about that is all. There are definitely city hallers on this blog and will always defend Adams, Hammond and their buddies.

CM, we should always question our leaders. We should question them when they constantly make decisions that are best for themselves. Is it OK for our leaders to berate citizens and we not respond? Is it OK for them to make statements that are patently false and just act as if they were never said? I believe that we should ALL be able to post our views and question those that we know are full of BS.

It sure is funny that those who bitch and whine about the content of this blog continue to come in and post and post and post and continue to stoke the fires of discontent. If the blog is that horrible, don't post or read. It is the same thing with TV and radio, if it is so bad turn the channel. It is so simple, if you do not like what you read, go to another blog. Create your own and just get out what you have building up inside. No one is asking any of us to partake in arguments and personal attacks. We are all here at our own accord. This has been going on for the 2 years that I have been involved on the blog. If you don't like Parry, big whoop. Don't slag the guy, just don't read about him and go on to another topic. I have fun here and poke at all kinds of folks and have taken shots from Tom, Truth In Media, , Concerned Monrovian and Monrovia City Watch because I had them coming. You put your neck out and it is bound to be stepped on.

In the grand scheme of things, what good is having an IP address shown. Not many people know what it is and what info is there. It really makes no difference to me, personally. There are many people that post here that want no part of an IP address being published because it takes away some of their anonymity. That has been the issue for many folks for a period of time. I am sure that the majority of posters here would not have an opinion one way or the other on IP address issue. But here we are bickering over it like two old ladies. I am now letting go and moving on. Thanks for the witty banter
