More than once, I've seen food stamp recipients using their cards to buy luxury items at the grocery store. We need to start restricting the items that can be purchased. Food stamps shouldn't be fun. They should be temporary, not a lifestyle.

And here I thought I was the only one. Good2Gouge sent me a toll bill in the mail, with a $5 fine for being late. Problem was, I never got the first notice from them. I thought about fighting it, but then thought the better of it. The little guy always loses when challenging the man. Especially when the man is Washington state government trying to suck every last nickel from our pockets.

Great job Tracy Vedder and KOMO. These types of hard hitting stories never seem to show up on the other 3 local news stations. As a taxpayer and someone that has payed the obscene toll several times, I want a refund for all the lost productivity during the 520 happy hour.
