BravesBlast.com :: Atlanta Braves Blog : At The Break As The Best Team In The National League

As a life-long Braves fan, am happy to see my team back on the right track. But I still think we are a bat short of being a World Series contender. However, I certainly don't want to trade away any Top 100 talent (and the Braves have plenty Top 100 prospects). Josh Willingham would be a nice fit int he middle of the lineup. p.s. It's nice to see the Phillies on the decline: http://www.beyondtheboxscore.com/2010/7/12/156511...

BravesBlast.com :: Atlanta Braves Blog : Maybe It's Time For Bobby To Call It A HOF Career

Kent, I couldn't have said it better. Cox brought us some incredible baseball, but it's time to move on. Our GM is doing a good job, players are letting Cox down, but it's still time to move on and get a younger manager.

He's a great. He's a hall of famer. He's a legend. But his time has passed. I want a manager who understands the value of knowing a players VORP in addition to trusting scouts. It's time to merge the old school with some new school. Also, I'd really like to see Manny Acta or someone like him over a TP.

BravesBlast.com :: Atlanta Braves Blog : Schuerholz and Wren Blast Furcal's Agents

Spot on analysis! Baseball is a business and just like my real estate business, relationships mean everything. Without trust, honesty and respect who would ever do business with Mr. Tellem again?

BravesBlast.com :: Atlanta Braves Blog : Can We Get Some Pitching Up In This Joint? Please?

Spend all efforts to sign Lowe AND Perez. Forget about the OF bat. We need some arms to bridge a gap in our development chain. If they don't pan out - we have youth coming in 2010 - 2011. IF they do pan out, then trade some arms for bats in 2010.
