Finally. I was working in Ann Arbor 35 years ago in a law firm, as a secretary, and suddenly the office became a horrible homeless shelter as 1000's of people were hanging out in the lobby, etc. It was VISTA. A government sponsored jobs/training program. We had to move. Then, I think there was Americorp and the same thing happened but it was in Chicago. Then, there was ACORN, in Fort Lauderdale. Thank you finally for reminding me of VISTA.

I checked out the Detroit News yesterday as I am originally from Detroit and found the former mayor re-arrested for parole violation, the congressman's wife wandering what her sentence would be and the Tamara Greene family (murdered under order of the former mayor) finally winning the chance to see the 911 calls made after her murder. I guess that was a normal day. I have to catch up on the matter of the farmlands and shrinking of the city. Nice to know that you are there. Whatever happened to the former police chief who was fired by the former mayor and triggered the text message scandal? I never knew about the ten murderers killing the cops. In Fort Lauderdale now there are many former Detroit cops who came here as a result of recruiting about 6 years ago. I just spent 3 years in Europe and no one there has any inkling of what has happened in Detroit. I try to explain and they think I am a racist. Who is Kharma?
