While I normally would agree with you, in this case I'm glad he did not. If he had, the authorities would not have known his apartment was boobie trapped, and there would have been possibly dozens more killed and maimed.
Overholser has been trying to get rid of the Rodeo for years. She complains about the mutton busting, as well. I watched the clip, but didn't see any abuse. But then, I was raised on a farm, and pampering an animal into obesity was never allowed. I haven't had any respect for the humane society since they put my friends dog down a few years ago. Her house was on fire, the dog ran, was eventually found and taken to the unhumane society. They killed her dog rather than make a long distance phone call because she took more than a few days to check with them. Her phone number was on the dogs tags. Also find it funny that I left a message for her with a complaint and she never called me back, yet she's mad that that same thing was done to her.
If it was that bad, how come out of the thousands who have gone to his concerts, she's the only one who lost their hearing?
Headline reads "Rapid bat bites dog in Corvallis". Maybe you want to change that to rabid?
Good call Judge Tichenor. Although the piece of paper would not stop him from hurting his entire family. I have to wonder, since he was a danger to his children, why meet him at his house, and not somewhere safer? Not blaming her, nor saying he couldn't be violent in public, just wondering what was going on. He must have done something to make her feel safer around him, but it was just a lie.
While I think it was stupid on his part, I did not realize it was illegal to show someone you have a gun. Since there was no other crime committed (robbery, assault, etc), I'm baffled. Sometimes people need to know you have a gun so they will leave you alone. I've been there.
So are these guys still in jail, or are they part of the new catch and release program?
I think the injustice is more on the side of those of us who get stuck behind a mini van that refuses to speed up or pull over. I always dread getting behind one of those. Almost as bad as getting stuck behind a 90 year old who thinks 30 is speeding.
