Fund My Mutual Fund - Stock Market, Economic, Equity Analysis - Via A Model Mutual Fund : [Video] Bob Prechter is Back... and Shockingly, Still Bearish ;)

You can't really call him a perma-bear though In 1978 he co-published a book that predicted the greatest bull market in history, for a blowoff top, and he said Dow 3000 I believe which seemed ridiculous, but turned out to be underestimating the strength. People probably called him a perma-bull then when the Dow was stuck under 1000.

I saw your website via google. I know you won't be able to talk pretty soon so I wish you best of luck, the site looks great. I wish the prospectus mentioned all risks though, like "Bernank QE withdrawal Risk" , "3:30pm EST rally prop-job risks", you know, the big boy stuff ;)

Fund My Mutual Fund - Stock Market, Economic, Equity Analysis - Via A Model Mutual Fund : Average Foreclosure Time Sets New Record of 631 Days - Again Very Bullish for Economy

Why don't they make a national mortgage holiday year, instead of measly payroll tax holiday. And gov will absorb all losses on lost payments. We can get GDP growing at 5% with that, just like Kudlow wanted.

Fund My Mutual Fund - Stock Market, Economic, Equity Analysis - Via A Model Mutual Fund : S&P Up About 11 Points Since Federal Reserve's Charles Evans Took to the CNBC Airwaves Talking

Thanks that was a great article. Covers about every cause. It seems like all of the points could have been mitigated by the Fed not cutting to 1%...and at least afterwards by the government throwing people in jail, which hasn't happened yet. Without cheap credit, houses can't go up, and wall street can run scams because houses are skyrocketing, right? Where's Bill Black when you need him...

It seems as though artificially low interest rates will create a bubble automatically, because people will borrow more than they otherwise would, but specific government policies directed the credit into the housing market. Mark, is dead right on the political hackage. The GOP debates are obnoxious to watch, because they all (except Paul) blame the housing bubble entirely on Fannie/Freddie, when without ARM's enabled by easy Al Greenscam, it probably wouldn't have played out the same way. Isn't the Fed also banned form buying anything other than US gov-backed paper? Meaning not MBS? Oh wait, laws don't matter anymore, right? Isn't the original purpose of the Fed to monitor credit aggregates? I guess they, ummm sort of failed at that: http://justthinking.us/sites/default/files/image/...

Fund My Mutual Fund - Stock Market, Economic, Equity Analysis - Via A Model Mutual Fund : The Economist Makes a (Somewhat) Bullish Case for a Housing Recovery

Maybe housing will never recovery, ever. It isn't an investment, it is a consumer durable, the con artist real estate brokers need to stop pushing the nonsense that a house was an investment when it depreciates and requires continual upkeep for most homeowners. The fact that the mindset is betting on or against home price appreciation shows how much of a bubble our economy is...all speculation.
Fund My Mutual Fund - Stock Market, Economic, Equity Analysis - Via A Model Mutual Fund : Amazing Apple (AAPL) Fact of the Day -

How much do you need to break even, is it still $7million? I think the worst case scenario is after it gets approved, then maybe you have to wait a while to regain "clients" before launching a fund. When I saw you up every month in 2010, if this thing took 10 years to wait to open, I would come back in 2021 (after QE 13) and look to invest. I don't get why people would leave elsewhere, seriously, what fund has any potential of gaining 50%+ in a year....some will lose that much when the market comes down!! I bet when you Actually have a fund up, these frustrated people will come back, I mean a real fund ready to go is 10x more appealing than just talking about opening one. Good luck with everything....

That sucks really, the gov does kill so many businesses with this nonsense I don't get why people would be dissuaded by the wait, my only concern was that you haven't run a mock fund in almost a year now due to this nonsense, but it is minor compared to seeing you perform for 2+ years in bear and bull markets, I mean your avg. monthly exceeded what a 10yr note gives now in 2 years time. Well due to the wait I now will be able to invest 10-20x more than if you started it last year. I have another family member highly interested and am working on convincing some very wealthy friend...the wait is destroying those chances though. Hopefully many other long time pledgers have accumulated more wealth and can pledge more due to the wait, the readers probably are the wiser type who have gotten richer over the last year, hopefully.
