Delta acquiring American Airlines would be fine with me. I'd much prefer to be on a Delta flight anyway. If they merged code share flights with American's partners that would be even better. I could get airline miles on routes that I had previously not been able to with more carriers.

Not counting on it though. I'd bet this gets shot down by regulators.

I agree that I hope it's a record never broken. I just wish they'd quit pulling a Barry Bonds by getting juiced up and tacking some more on to the record.

Apparently your handle isn't just a creative name. Turns out that we were the ones that had it wrong. The transliteration incorrectly spelled the city's name "Nanking" when in fact it is more accurately Nanjing, or Nan-ching, depending on whether you use the Wade-Giles transliteration or Pinyin. Guess a little research would be too much to expect to prevent yourself from looking like an idiot.

Oh. My. Goodness.

Do we really have a president pleading for people to love him? I'm reminded of the scene in Bruce Almighty where Jennifer Aniston's character is fed up with Jim Carrey and Carrey's character is pleading for her to "love me!!!"

I'm also reminded of how Jesus asked Peter, "Do you love me?" Peter replied, "Yes, Lord." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep." Is this another Obama deification attempt?

Obama: Do you love me?
Adoring masses: Yes, we do.
Obama: Pass my bill.
