Korea was a conflict. War was neveer declared by any nation.
The conflict lasted three years from June 1950 to July 1953.

I've asked the same question and I'm a vet of 12 years service.

Karen, please try to write with a modicum of accuracy. The troops are well equipped. I see this in the gear my corporal grandson brings home.
I served for 12 years (1955 to 1967) and know what constitutes poor equipment.
My general feeling about the war is we should never have become involved. The middle east has been in turmoil for thousands of years - tirbe vs tribe. Let them solve their own problems without interference from abroad.
If it's over oil, we're in big trouble!

At rare times R. Mercer is humourous, most of the time not. His 30 minute show should be moved to a station in Iran or N. Korea.
I find him as boring as Jim Carrie, who's making a fortune with distorted faces. Didn't that slap-stick humour die with Abott & Costello? It should have.
I hope Sun TV News can find real talent for a news programme that reviles left leaning CBC.

Three cheers if it becomes Fox News (North). Send CNN, CBC, CTV et al into the trash bin.

I'd feel more comfortable following Capt. Robert Semrau into battle than Col. Williams, three promotions higher!
My 12 year carrer in the CA (R) was in tanks & flying helicopters (43 months) in (then) W. Germany during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Remember that issue?

Having retired, after 12 years in the Canadian Army (Regular) Armoured Corps, I am in complete support of the humanitarian action taken by Capt. Robert Semrau in a combat situation.
Persons who haven't been in a like situation, shouldn't be so hasty to judge! Try remaining calm under fire.
If we don't stand behind our troops, they invite you to stand in front!
