That's awesome. I never thought of it that way. I almost hope Obama does it. It will just be another fight he picks with the American people. And in the end, it will have all been for nothing.

Come to think of it, one of the retired gentlemen used to be a lounge singer in vegas. And one of the women had been married to a mayor. Oh my gosh. Maybe she wasn't crazy.

I knew there was a reason I liked her. None of the other volunteers would hang out with her, but I thought she was cool. She wasn't afraid to "lay it out". I respected that about her.

Did you guys know they get "play" in retirement homes? Oh yes, it's true. She used to give me the "skinny" (her word) on who was spending the night in who's room. I swear, that woman should have been working for our intelligence community.

Hey Delux, if you don't have anything nice to say, come sit next to me.

A woman at the retirement home I volunteered at during high school used to say that to me. She was an old Betty Davis look-a-like with a lit cigarette forever lodged between her fingers. Whenever I did sit next to her she kept the conversation confined to two words. When another retired woman would pass by, she would lean in and whisper "whore". When it was a man, she would say "connected".

I don't know if she was the craziest woman I ever met or the smartest. Maybe they were all ex-politicians.

Conspiracy to do what? Dress up like members of the Village People and start re-enacting scenes from "Can't Stop The Music" for a politician? Cause' in New Orleans, that's not really a crime. That's just an average night out on Bourbon Street.

I have to agree. I think the previous anti-military movies made it difficult for Hurt Locker to go mainstream. And I disagree with Nolte. It was not an anti-military film. There were some jerks in the film, but she humanized the main characters and destroyed the idea that we are all a bunch of stupid, mindless killing drones that want to go in and destroy nations. And she made it visually clear how evil terrorists are. She gave a wide perspective on many of the kinds of people that end up in a war zone. From the average soldier, specialists, mercenaries, terrorists, children...

I think this was the most honest story of the war, and that's something considering it came from Hollywood. She won't win. In fact, with all of the nominations this film got, I'm betting it gets one award...if that.

Roy, they all knew this was a sham. But none of these "reporters" are there to report. They are there to propagate a leftist agenda. And if that means lie (which it almost always means), then they lie. There's no moral compass involved in regards to the conveyance of truth.

The media isn't about truth. It's a propaganda machine. Which is why those outlets are going out of business.

THERE WAS NO HONDURAN CRISIS!

The only crisis was one that the Obama administration, the UN and the media created. The Honduran Supreme Court and the Honduran PEOPLE handled their own business. They got rid of a would-be Marxist dictator, and in short order. And they didn't bend over for the U.S. or anyone else. Personally, I'd like to shake the hand of every citizen in that country.

The Honduran government upheld it's own Constitution. Which is more than I can say for ours.

Thank you. This MerryJ1 person keeps putting that out. It's rediculous. The father of one of the defendents is in Shreveport, not NOLA. And I've heard Letten has a good reputation.

My understanding is that this is a dog of a case so if he drops it, it will look like he's favoring a conservative and if he loses the case (because it's a loser) it will look like he phoned it in because he's favoring a conservative. That's why he's handing it off to someone else. Not to mention this is not exactly a monster case. I mean, O'Keefe and his "band of master criminals" (and I use the phrase sarcastically) didn't exactly break into the Smithsonian and steal the Wright Flyer.

Honestly, the more that comes out about this, the more it sounds like a nuisance charge. But Holder will stick them with anything he can.
