Why do you say we "have a responsibility to our neighbors", as though we are obligated to support others... any others... no matter the context or the content of their character? If you do believe it depends on the situation or whether the person is deserving, then you cannot, at the same time, argue that we each have an inherant 'responsibility', as such. It is a contradiction.

So if someone agrees with you on some points, you are 'on the same page'?? That's nonsense.

@edw987.... Actually, the Constitution has nothing to say about alliances with other nations; however, this was the philisophic stance of many of the founders, such as Washington and Jefferson (..but not all. Hamilton was the 'neo-con' of his day).

Mr. Horowitz.
This is truly a new low. Your article is totally irrational and emotionally motivated. Not only are you saying flat out that Ron Paul hates Jews, but you infer that his supporters also hate Jews... by proxy. Paul's principle is for friendship with all nations, but entangling alliances with none, as Washington and Jefferson proposed. As Israel is so entwined with the US to the point of zealotry with some (as your article exemplifies so eloquently), it is a good example of the reasons behind this principled stance. That is not a 'Jew-hating' stance, as this has nothing to do with a specific people or religion.

I suppose my defense of this stand also means I am anti-Semitic as well? This is nonsense.

Paul is philosophically an individualist, while Frank is philosophically a collectivist. They are not the same at all and to imply otherwise is intellectually dishonest. Sure there are some intersecting points, but libertarianism is nothing like progressivism. Conservatives believe in economic liberty, but social statism, while progressives tout economic statism but social liberty... Libertarians are for liberty on both ends.

This is not a Walmart problem, Mike. This happens it all sorts of places. Some Walmarts are wonderful, with good, smart employees, while others seem to hire walking dead. It depends on who is hiring, not the chain itself. The majority of my Walmart experiences have been pleasant, easy and cheap. Let's not tar and feather too quickly.

Sorry you had some bad experiences though.
