I challenged the notion that Obama was a tyrant. Not once did I use profanity and everytime someone tried to tie Obama to "tyranny" I challenged the notion. When they said "Government workers should not have the right to organize" I pointed out that teachers, police and firefighters were examples of "Government employees".

I'm an educator on a day off. Some of my students were observing how rediculous the "Obama is a Nazi" theory is and one of them pointed out this site (as the source).

We got together and pointed out so many contradictions to the "Obama is Benito" argument and it started to get heated. As we calmly replied to folks (who claimed that Obama was a tyrant), they started to get angry. I was called a "communist" and a "Marxist" from people who barely understand what it means.

When we pointed out that true tyranny means media control and if Beck and Limbaugh are still making millions and if sites like "Big Government" are online, it's one of many examples of "freedom of the right wing press". Therefore, he is not a tyrant.

Just when a few commentors were pointing to "Net Neutrality" as an example of Obama 'tyranny" and "censorship ", we shot it down by reminding educating them on what true censorship means.

Thats when my comments were deleted.

This site is paranoid that someone might actually educate the readers. There is so much money to be made from thie "Obama is a tyrant" fear-mongering. World Net Daily, Glenn Beck and Limbaugh are making millions. It's no wonder this site wants to control the message (especially educated commentors).

I wish I could respond, but this site is censoring all of my comments. Now who's censoring who?

Could this be right wing censorship?

All my comments above have been wiped clean. They fear I might say something that makes sense.

This comment won't last long either. You have to believe these theories or else you get deleted.

That's "freedom" for you?

Dear site administrator, you're on camera. This is a film project about how massive and controlling the right wing media has become and now you've just proven our point. .

Your competitor, The Huffington Post doesn't censor it's commentors unless the comments are vile, threatening or use profanity. But this site? You're afraid that we'll say something that makes sense. You're afriad will make a valid point that proves your tyranny theories wrong.

All my comments (above) deleted. Now who's the tyrant?

Now look has been censored!. This is what I get for shooting down Nazi theories with facts. All this talk about Obama the "tyrant" and the lack of evidence. Now I get censored (all my comments above - gone).

This site is afraid you'll see another side of the argument. How's that for "Net Nuetrality"? Right wing view points only. Disagree with an article, you get censored. That's how it works.

There was 0% profanity in my comments. Just a viewpoint from the middle and WOW, this administrator is afraid you might hear a reasonable argument that blows the Obama is like Mussolini theory out of the water.

How long will it take until this comment is censored?

"Less factual and more emotional" referred to the comments on this page, not the site. For examples, see comments above...

I guess you're refering to teachers? Those pesky government workers at our local schools?

How dare they organize! Right? That's who you're demonizing here? Or is it your local fireman (government worker) or police officer (government worker)?.

Which one do you should have no right to organize?

Sorebird, we agree 100% on this one. I do make a healthy profit and I'm no fan of Red Roof Inn.

Probably shouldn't have used the word stereotype. It wasn't fair. Upon reading your first comment, I unfairly assumed you were a white male who hated the Obama the moment you saw him and when you heard his middle name, you hated him even more. What added to that hatred was regurally tuning into media outlets (right wing media businesses that make millions) reinforcing that hatred.

You are not big into World History but the guy on cable news (who you think makes sense) told you he was a Nazi, so, you think he's a Nazi.

You think educated (translation - college degree elites) like me are ruining the country because we always want to help (translation- give undeserved hand-outs) to the poor (translation - the lazy minorities).

But steotypes are bad. You know why? Because they are sometimes true.

Throughout history, what is the first thing a tyrant does? Answer : He shuts down the media opposition right?

Turn on Fox News today. Is it still on?

What freedom do you lose since he was sworn in? You still have your freedom to march against his policies. Your right to shoot someone on your property is a still there. Your guns are still there. Freedom to vote for Palin and to buy Glenn Beck's anti-Obama book is still in tact.

So what freedoms have you lost (since he was sworn in) that would be tangible evidence that he's a "tyrant"?

Talking points is one thing. Factual evidence within your own life is another.

"Before you go on a rant about how progressives care about the Constitution, just stop right there".

Done. You make sweeping generalizations about very complex issues. Too much Glenn Beck can drive one to do that. How do I know you get your talking points from Beck?

"Progressive/liberal = Marxist/Communist/Socialist, get the idea now. Its very simple to understand".

You named 4 different philosophies that are distictively different and in the modern era, they are more complex and splintered than ever. But leave it to Glenn Beck to call it "simple".

TV hosts (no matter what their tilt is) don't really have all the answers.
