I had this Prof at Baruch, as did my sister. Though I received an A (as did she, just for the record) I do not believe this Professor is as awesome as you might assume from watching the video (as a person, f*** yeah, but not as a prof). The truth is he is unnecessarily condescending, and his TA's and extra learning hours are not actually helpful. Although it's not entirely his fault--for some reason this is a communication intensive course which means you have to write subscribed essays in less than five minutes, which basically means memorization and rote repetition. He knows his s***, and does give a 100% to his students, but in the end if you treat me like a stupid f***, and a lot of the learning opportunities are for morons, then what have I learned? To write an essay? To memorize and repeat definitions from the textbook on the test? This is College, not junior high.
