I went through "Experiencing God" with a group at our church about 15 years ago. It's not hard to find some fault with the study, but overall, it was helpful to me.

It's a little after the fact now, but we passed out candy and tracts, and carved pumpkins with a friend. It's amazing how controversial Halloween can be. I posted links to several different articles last week.

Hey, Andy. Just realized you were back in the saddle! I completely agree that "there is no substitute for worshiping in person in the body as the family of Christ." I know this is a strong statement, but I would go so far as to say that a person who thinks otherwise should do some serious self-examination to determine if they're really following Christ at all.

"Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!" (2 Cor. 13:5)
