I never knew that extra bit until praying it in a non-Catholic church. When I learned it in a Catholic church (way back when I was a child), it just ended, ". . . deliver us from evil. Amen."

Oh, and as a reminder, when moving music stands back to make room for Pastor Green, keep it facing the same direction (paper towards back of stage) instead of turning it around. Just be conscious of it because the paper reflects a lot of light.

In fact, all things white, whether clothing or paper, tend to attract a lot of attention and can detract from the worship if it becomes distracting.

on another note, Nice job calling out lines, Bethanie.

The message was clear, easy to follow, thought-provoking, and challenging. It made me really ask, for what am I ready? It seemed the parts of the message were easier to follow when the slides didn't change too much because I found myself listening more than looking.
The songs were good, but what drew me seriously into worship this Sunday was the scripture and prayer and quiet moments.
Phil, please try to pronounce your consonants when singing. You have a deep voice and your speaking is clear, but your singing tends to be less discernible.

I thought the monologues were a nice change of pace and helped convey the events of the day in another light. It was good to see the different points of view and kind of be in the shoes of Judas and then in those of the centurion. Great job with the preparations and deliverance of the monologues!

I liked how Hans told people to put down their bulletins at the beginning of the morning.
Everyone sounds wonderful. Hans, you may want to check your phrasing for some songs.
Charissa and Nicky, it's a delight hearing you guys play. I really liked the plucking at the beginning of Always Forever (though I didn't notice it on Sunday, but now hear it in the recording).
The songs were very relevant to the message.

If we do more of these workshops, we should have like 4 extra mics to record the audience interaction as well. place 4 or 5 mics around the room and people either pass them around or go to a stand.

The Holy Spirit was indeed present during service this morning. The songs were well thought out and introduced in a way that gave the songs more meaning than just words set to a tune.
I also thought the sermon was good, full of truth, challenging, and practical. It was delivered not harshly, but with honest love.

I don't have comments on the music because I was paying less attention to it. At least that means nothing distracted me about the music that pulled me away from worshiping, which is a good thing.
"Isn't He" may have had much more power and impact if there was a scriptural introduction or reading before it that relates to why God is beautiful and wonderful.

This year: I have been blessed by being able to step off the stage freely and see so many others step up to lead worship—and even in new ways (e.g. choirs, new instruments)! I have been blessed by hearts all for God. I've also been blessed and excited about the formation of our drama and the growth of our A/V team. The prospect of the visual arts like photography for WAM is also exciting.

Improvement suggestion: I agree with Phil that integration of scripture with worship is needed. It's done on occasion, but has room to become a habit. I also wonder what ways the team can come together and bless each other through love and fellowship. The team is always getting larger and larger, so team unity may need more intention.

God has grown my understanding of worship: by humbling and challenging me. I know I'm just an OK singer, rather run-of-the-mill. However, similar to what Phil explains about exteriors not mattering to God, He has shown me that exteriors are affected by the heart. God has humbled me in that even though I'm not a great singer, He can still be glorified by the thoughts and sounds I offer up to Him in worship. I've also been challenged by the knowledge of knowing my vocal limitations and the fact that it really does need a workout to be better. I'm not saying I want to be a great singer, but when faced with leading a congregation in worship, things like not enough breath support or being sharp or flat can be distracting and draw attention to the singer instead of toward God. I definitely do not want to be a distraction... but yet, even in our imperfections, may God be glorified!

The voices and music in this song bring me to ascribe glory and greatness to God. Good job all around. I still love the warm elegance of the cellos as well.
