I am so happy that My girlfriend hates most of these movies. As a matter of fact my girlfriends requirements for me to watch were: 1. Equilibrium, 2. Empire of the Sun, 3. American Beauty, 4. Crash (2004), and 5. The Virgin Suicides. Gotta say Didnt have to much of a problem with that list. Equilibrium is her favorite freakin movie! how awsome is that?
Amazing. Now what does it mean if my girlfriend loves Fight Club, hates the Godfather (because of this wierd hatred towards itallian mobsters) thinks Saving Private ryan is ok, Likes, but not loves The big Lebowski, Thinks Caddyshack is pretty funny but refuses to watch Enter the Dragon?

Not a bad read. Its so true. Andy Serkis should have at least been nominated I think for his rolls in Lord of the Rings. He WAS gollum. He did everything in the movie that gollum does and his performance was unforgettable. I think that this years best actor catagory is pretty good, but everyone knows that Slumdog is going to sweep just about all the catagories that it is nominated for, which is sad because the movie, while good, was not great. Its a pretty cut and dry story and when I was done watching it I wasnt blown away. I was almost smitten with MR performance in the Wrestler and Brad Pitt was awsome in Curious Case. The Acadamy Awards will never ever ever ever ever get it right 100% of the way, but thats ok because if it meant that much people wouldnt spend all their money watching the good movies in place of the award winners. I mean, Halle Berry, Ben Affleck both of them have oscars and cant act for shit. (or write for shit in Big Bens case...Everyone knows that Matt Damon did all the work on that movie.)
I cant freakin wait for this! Sucks I cant see it opening night because of work but Sunday isnt to far off and I can only hope it lives up to the hype.

im totally down for her to play black widow and why do people hate on jack black. I think most people didnt see it because of ben stiller who is a giant tool. Now that I think about it Tropic thunder didnt exactly tank did it? Haters hate though, its just what they do.
The Wachoski's can make a good movie, If by good you mean writing a convoluted POS like the Matrix Trillogy or ruining a great story like V for Vendetta (although I should say that movie was ok for what it was). The first Matrix movie was ok, if not overratted but nothing they have done has been AMAZING. Superman is a stupid superhero anyway. The freakin dude is invincable in every way unless you hold up a green rock and and try to take over the world with realestate scams. It doesnt matter who does this movie, its gonna be mediocre at best anyway so I say let them do it, let them ruin it or make it better. I say Boooooooo! either way.
I dont think it will Tank, doesnt a film have to have a strong build up to actually tank. This movie is gong to be completly ignored thoughout its release, but I will watch Malkovich paint a fence and be entertained so Its all good to me.
