good to hear some news!
I thougt I heard from musclenerd that there will be a downgrade released after the iOS5 JB, what should have been last weekend.
But okay, thanx, now I know that there is still no solution ready! :(

Does anybody know, if there's still a downgrade for the 3G coming???
I have doubts about that, because Apple won't release a 4.3 for the 3G, so I think, the 3G won't get any attention anymore.. and I will stay on shitty 06.15 forever... :-/

yeah and then I still got 4.1 with BB 6.15.00
but I want 4.2.1
how can I do this?
iTunes doesnt take any FW than 4.1
I tried 4.2.1, also the custom 4.2.1, everytime comes an error and recovery mode. when i kick it out of recovery mode with umbrella, it starts again in recovery mode. so it's just not working with 4.2.1 !
Does anybody know what I can do/try?

does that mean, when i got back from 4.2.1 to 4.1 with redsn0w on iPhone 3G, that i will never be able again to update to a custom ipsw?
I only can update with redsn0w in the future??

I just cant update to the 4.2.1 with my iPhone 3G !
I have the same error like some other, luckily, i am not the only one with this problem.
I updated with the custom ipsw, it worked, then i was in recvoery mode, got all the time error 1015.
then i found a way how to get to 4.1 with redsn0w. this works happily, i thought i killed my lovely phone!!
then i tried it again, to put on the custom 4.2.1, but it aborts at the installation already and i get back in the recovery mode again.
I tried all that for more than 5 times now.. it doesnt work.
I am on a iPhone 3G 4.1 with BB 06.15.00 now.
Can anybody explain me, how i can fix this problem, how to get 4.2.1. on that iPhone??
That would really make me happy! Thank you.

Das NEXUS ONE ist ja mal wieder ordentlich vom iPhone abgekupfert! :@

Ich hoffe Apple haut mit dem neuen iPhone alle um, das letzte war ja nich so der Knaller, aber beim Nächsten könnte das ganz anders aussehen. ;)
