I have read all the responses.... you are the only respondent that "gets it".
Most Americans have thier head in the sand or somewhere else and cannot see or admit that the goal posts have truly moved.
As an ex pat American I seen the future and it is not in the USA.
Sad to say but someone was fiddling while it all slipped away.

When I read the history books of the past I often wondered how it was that so many people were so easily led to their demise. Even now that I have seen it happen with my own eyes I still don’t understand how gullible apparently so many people are. Why do so many just accept what a politician or an “expert” it telling them. In the 1400’s the experts said the world was flat. In the 1970’s the experts were telling us of a coming new ice age. Neither of those worked out too well. I guess because there was no money in it for them but now they have figured out a way to make some money with their current scam.

I don’t know what the truth is about Climate Change, Global Warming or the title de jour is, but now it is obvious those promoting it have a lot to hide. Now I will support NO politician with my vote that supports Climate Change because if they don’t want to talk about then obviously they have something, or a lot, to hide. Any fool that casts his vote (and a vote is all we have) for manmade climate change is throwing away the only voice they have. Too bad there are so many fools in the world. I may be one of them but at least I want to discuss and share the information. All this does is makes me a skeptic of them.

Americans kicked ass until VJ day. They were not afraid of borders or what someone may think. Ya know where Bin Laden is, go and get him and kick ass all the way. America has not had a leader since Regan, all they have had is Politicans and we all know what they do.

I thought Ron Paul was the only choice before the election. Too bad the system kept him out. Nothing has happened to change my opinion only to reinforce it.
I think Palin got a raw deal by the media as she was fed to the meat grinder for speaking openly and honestly, something the run of the mill politicians know nothing about.
This country could do a lot worse than Paul / Palin - hell it just did with staggering results no less.
I know Ron Paul does not have charisma but with today’s media Lincoln could not get elected.

I am a white American of German descent; I am married to a Chinese woman. We have a wonderful marriage with a 10 year old son. He gets Honors as school and is at the top of his class; actually he is at the top of the next class that he is not in. His reading and math is 5-6 years above his current grade. Every day after school he helps at my workshop and still gets all his homework done. In our long and very happy marriage we have never had an argument and even a disagreement was settled with conversation (bet you can’t top that one). I know of at least a dozen mixed race marriages that are well over 20 years on and the love and bond is still strong. For what I have seen and apparently the statistics support this is that the divorce race among mixed race marriages is a lot less than non mixed race relationships.

It seems Hollywood is good at crashing and blowing stuff up or the ubiquitous car chase. I find this so boring now. It has been done to death. Our family has turned to the quirky foreign films that have an interesting story line that you have to watch closely or you will miss the nuance of the story. Most Hollywood stuff you can leave, go to the toilet and return and not feel like you have missed anything, because you didn’t. There have been a few good movies come from Hollywood but if they were baseball payers their batting average would not get them hired into the big leagues. Also it does not help when they wear their politics on their sleeve.

I tried on a Democrat shirt; it was several sizes too small.

I used to wear a Republican shirt; it was almost as small.

Then I tried on a Constitutionalist shirt and it fit very well.

When there is a set of rules to operate by (the Constitution) then those rules should be followed and if you don’t like the rules then change them. The Constitution is our contract agreement with our government.
The government is in default of this agreement.

Democrats and Republicans are both tarred with the same brush as there is not ten cents difference between them.

College ball is much more interesting anyway.
