The first was the Catholic view which was "No Birth Control Ever - No exemptions" The second was the Secular view which propoeses birth control is "good" for the enviornment and for preventing an unwanted preganancies allowing people to engage in sex without the responsibility of having children. The third view was the Protestant view which holds birth control is good depending on the motive of individual using it.
I believe God created women and men to fullfill each others needs, relating to one another physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This type of relationship expressed in marriage is fullfilled through relationship, communication, and sexual activity. This healthy relationship has the potential to prduce children should the Lord choose it.
Birth control therefore in my opinon should not be taken lightly and the individual who chooses to use it must examine their moitives carefully. If a persons motive is centered around themselves they run the risk of misusing birth control, while if the persons motive centers around honoring God and stewarding what He has given you then the person honors God.
