"This is a game, a very dangerous game, to empower the loyalist paramilitaries and reassert their grip on the micro-economies within loyalist areas."

A game intentionally brought about by the inflamatory actions of republican politicians - and so called middle of the road politicans who betrayed the wishes of those who voted them into office in the first place.

Republican politicans went on to gloat the next day on public media about it. Enraging protestants. I think these are some of the "facts" that you're missing.

Your description of some "facts" appear delusional too. But I digress. What's the point?

hi bernie aka parma violet!

It's great to see you're still spouting your hatred. God knows what'd happen to you if you didn't empty the venom sacks on a regular basis.

"I guess if you scratch the surface of unionists there's a loyalist trying to get out."

You say that like it's a bad thing!

I've watched youtube videos of people spouting utter hatred, much like nazi's, at EDL supporters who were protesting in Luton at the disgraceful protest of some muslim men - who were shouting abuse at British forces who'd just returned from war in Afghanistan.

I see no room in your philosophy for the opinions of the BNP or EDL.

Before you begin deriding me as a terrible "racist" for not immediately condemning groups like the BNP or the EDL, let me remind you that at the time when Enoch Powell made his rivers of blood speech, he was so popular in England, that opinion polls declared 84% of the English populace behind him.

It wasn't a million years ago that signs declaring "no dogs or Irish" were visible in windows all over London - from shops to bars and workplaces.

In short, shouting down people because you've labelled them with some terrible term (in the case of the English its the term racist) and disapprove of their opinion, doesn't make you right. And it does a disservice to what you claim to hold dear - democracy.

Demonizing EDL, BNP, whatever only sweeps their issues under the carpet; in effect making the problem worse because it goes undiscussed.

I recall a news story in recent times where asian men were grooming young, white English girls; sexually abusing them, passing them around the group.

The news story wasn't about that though.

The news story was about no one in England having the balls to prosecute the group of asian men, because doing so might be seen as being racist.

Jack Straw had a hand in ensuring these asian men met justice and it's probably the only good thing he'll be remembered for in his political career.

Very few people hate an entire race. People generally are annoyed with social problems that a group of people might bring to a community. For example, I'm sure Janet that you wouldn't like to live in a community that enforces sharia law. But pockets of this are springing up in your very England.

Be careful about blindly condemning people. If you want to see what it leads to, look at us here in Northern Ireland.

The "people" on this forum are not interested in a shared future. They think their day has come - and show their true belief system - brits out.

And they call us nazi's! lol!

It speaks volumes that all you've got to contribute to this post is toilet humour, and yet you're being upvoted.

It speaks volumes of the insecurity of the republicans who frequent this web forum.

Well, that's an interesting concept.

But what recent history has taught us, is that if you don't like how things are going, get violent. You'll get your way eventually. Just look at SF/IRA. They bombed and murdered their way into power. Democracy had nothing to do with it.

The British government have sent a clear message to the people by getting in bed with SF/IRA: Violence does work.

So why are you complaining about it, you're just as guilty of these types of actions. You and your republican cronies all vote for SF/IRA.

All I hear is you spouting hate. In every post. You're so full of hatred. Sad really.

There's really no point in trying to discuss anything with people like you until that boil has been lanced.

Facist bigots? Your IRA has been bedfellows with adolf hitler. Along with the nazi party, they use national socialism as a political ideology. They burned, bombed, killed, murdered at their will, much like the nazis. They shouted down and removed all opposition.

I'm just holding up a mirror here to you and others like you.
