The samsung skin - touchwiz- aint perfect. and there are lags at times. [Specially when you have too many apps open.] But just root your phone. and install 'AutoKiller'. It makes sure there is no lag in your system.

My Galaxy S has never seen any lag after that! :)

It will be getting 2.2 early Q4, and as for gingerbread.. nothings official. so you dont really know as of now. but if any current phone gets OS updates beyond 2.2 .. you will get it on galaxy s. :)

Try restarting and then doing it agai, if you havent done it yet.

Last resort would be a hard reset. Try another product code, if theres a spcific problem with this one.

Update me on what happened.

1.6mb is too low. go through your C drive and move stuff as much as possible to your mass memory. uninstall apps you dont want.

Hello david,

Get the product code of your region and then get the latest firmware. you should be getting the required languages. there can be other ways of adding languages, but i dont know about it as of now. will look into it.

Let us know if you have any update on this.
