The original bill did NOT mandate transvaginal ultrasound screening but also did not exclude it as a possible procedure if medical personnel deemed it necessary...period. That was a lie used by the baby killer promoters to try to stop the VA ultrasound law. The McDonnell cave in to the leftists' political demagoguery added the specific language to exclude what was not there in the first place. Now that option will not be available to women if needed.
